we see another move of the Holy Ghost this camp.
From people being slain, to youths being delivered from bondages.
Just want to say that I think experiences are not the bedrock of our Christian faith. What matters most is a changed life.
No point being slain and having wonderful visions / speaking in tongues if when we go back home, we're rude to our parents, or we dont put God first.
2006 will see many of you facing greater challenges.
I've sent an email earlier on the spiritual memorial I hope all of you will do (myself included). Besides a memorial, I hope the class will also come together to share 2006 aspirations.
It's hard to say whether we've grown spiritually over 2005. I remember some indicators my old church used.
Have our hearts grown closer to God in 2005? Has our relationship with God deepened?
Have we loved God more in 2005?
Have we loved our neighbours more in 2005?
For the various trials in 2005, how have we fared?
I pray that as 2005 has been a spiritual breakthrough year for many of you, that 2006 will be the year many of you become "young man / woman" in the faith. That each of you will rise up and lay hold of the destiny God has for you.
