hello! saw this at someone's blog. found it very true and challenging.. i pray tt all of us will have the courage and heart to pray this kind of prayer. =)
I commit to live a lifestyle of integrity and honor.
I will lay down my life daily to serve the Lord because it’s not about me.
I will choose to love people in spite of our differences and even when they are getting on my nerves.
I will live a selfless life and put others before myself.
I will lay down my pride and choose to be humble.
I will not whine and complain but strive for excellence and always do my best at whatever tasks I am doing.
I will depend on God to be my strength when times get hard and I feel like I can’t go on any longer.
I will be a leader and stand up for what is right.
I will glorify God in all that I do.
I will make God #1 in my life.
I will go out of my way to help others and show them the love of Christ.
I will encourage and help motivate people to keep pressing on.
I will meet with God daily.
I will get over my feelings and emotions and look at the reality of the situation.
I will lay all my worries and burdens at God’s feet because my life is in God’s hands.
I will trust in the Lord to provide and take care of me.
I will have self control and patience.
I will dress modestly and have respect for myself.
I will guard my heart and take my thoughts captive to Christ.
I will have healthy pure male and female friendships.
I will not hang out alone for long periods of time with the opposite gender.
I will make wise decisions and be smart.
I will have an accountability partner.
I will be real and honest with what I struggle with.
I will pray for my friends and family.
I will use my time wisely and not be a procrastinator.
I will continue to develop a habit of good time management.
I will discipline myself and die to my flesh daily.
I will eat healthy so I won’t become a glutton.
I will stay active so I won’t gain weight.
I will be a hard worker because laziness is not an option.
I will have a professional work ethic.
I will be responsible for my actions.
I will press on towards the goal and never give up.
I will step out in faith and accomplish the unthinkable.
I will dream big and be creative.
I will allow God to continue to mold me and shape into the pure strong woman of God that he wants me to be.
I will get excited about the things of God and crave the Holy Spirit as 1Peter 2:2-3 states.
may God grant us the strength and godly character to die to our flesh daily and accomplish all this! its better to work hard, shine and excel for God (the imperishable kingdom) than waste our lives away to achieve worldly standards of excellence. let's look beyond and catch the vision.. :)
